Lower Aragon is located halfway between the provinces of Zaragoza, Teruel, Tarragona and Castellón.
Its strategic location has made this region an area of passage, of communication between the Ebro valley and the Mediterranean coast, which has shaped the character of its people, open and welcoming, the fruit of which travelers enjoy deep-rooted customs and traditions.
The most famous, Holy Week, with its processions, the representation of the Drama of the Cross, the Rompida de la Hora, whose backdrop is made up of the rumbling of Drums and Drums. There are three towns in the region that belong to the Drum and Bombo route: Alcañiz, Alcorisa and Calanda.
